How to simplify and compare a ratio
Enter two non-negative whole numbers. The calculator divides both values by their greatest common divisor to show the ratio in its simplest whole-number form. It also shows each value as a percentage of their combined total.
Ratio example
For values 12 and 18, the greatest common divisor is 6, so the simplified ratio is 2:3. The values make up 40% and 60% of their total, respectively.
Input limits
Values must be whole numbers that can be represented safely by the browser, and their combined total must also be a safe integer. Both values cannot be zero because a zero total has no meaningful ratio or percentage shares.
