How to change audio speed
- Choose an audio file your browser can decode.
- Set a speed from 0.5× (half speed) to 2× (double speed).
- Create the changed audio, preview it, and download the WAV.
Speed and pitch
This tool changes the playback rate directly, similar to playing a record faster or slower. Faster audio becomes shorter and higher in pitch; slower audio becomes longer and lower in pitch. It does not use pitch-preserving time stretching.
