How to convert number bases
Enter an integer using digits that are valid for the source base, select the source and target bases, and read the converted value. Negative integers are supported; fractions and prefixes such as 0x are not.
Binary, decimal and hexadecimal
Binary (base 2) uses 0 and 1. Decimal (base 10) uses digits 0 to 9. Hexadecimal (base 16) adds A to F for values ten through fifteen. This converter also supports octal (base 8), base 32 and base 36.
Number base conversion examples
- Decimal 10 = binary 1010.
- Decimal 255 = hexadecimal FF.
- Binary 11111111 = decimal 255.
- Decimal 64 = octal 100.
