Conversion happens on your device. WAV files are larger than compressed audio formats, but are widely supported and uncompressed.
Input formats depend on your browser. Files are decoded and converted locally; this tool currently exports WAV audio.
How to convert audio to WAV

- Choose the output sample rate and channel layout.
- Select Convert to WAV, then preview or download the result.
Sample rate, channels and file size
Sample rate controls how many audio samples represent each second. Converting to mono averages the input channels; stereo output duplicates a mono source or keeps the first two channels. WAV uses uncompressed 16-bit PCM, so the output is typically larger than an MP3 or other compressed file.
